Idea Feedback | Development

After our second meeting as a group, discussing some more ideas for our brand and for the video, we had a idea lab with Helen and the rest of the class. This is where we told them our ideas and what we wanted to do, and they gave us some feedback.

• The fact that we started off with creating a brand rather than a story is really god as it means we can choose a story to fit in with the audience we are targeting rather than the other way round.
• The brand that we have created is strong and well thought out.
• The different categories is a good idea as it doesn't seclude us to one topic.
• The viral videos story is a good main story, and maybe we should try to become viral ourselves.
• We can look at different film festivals as part of our film and TV category.
• Maybe look into more serious Yak topics like politics and such.

Overall Helen is happy with where we are at with the unit and the rest of the class are intrigued as to what the outcome will be. We will definitely take on board the comments that were made, and look into viral videos more for our main story.
