When trying to find someone to interview, we wanted them to have some relevance to the online world and online videos. We discussed as a group that we wanted someone that had either gone viral themselves or had quite a big following online.

Myself and Nisserin had previously come across a YouTuber who is also a first year studying Television Production at UCA. On seeing that she had around 6,000 subscribers, we knew she would be someone worth talking to.
We told Josh and Ida about our findings and they agreed that she should be our interviewee.

Ida contacted her and asked if she would mind being apart of our project, and she thankfully said that she would do it.

I think having Katie as our interviewee will help us get some outside information on videos on the internet while also giving us the opportunity to ask her questions based on the topic, to keep the video going.
As she is a YouTuber, we knew should would be confident in front of the camera, but we will send her a brief outline of what we are going to ask her before the interview shoot. Just so she has a heads up on what her answers should be roughly.
