Blocking | Development

One thing that I suggested myself and Nisserin do is block out the scenes of the script. For me, I will block out where the actors will be and the action they make, and Nisserin will block out the camera. This is something we want to add to the book, so we'll need to tell Simon to add this to our learning agreement.

The most effective way of doing this, we decided, was to see what locations we were using, and roughly how we will block the action and the cameras. So, we haven't blocked out every scene, but we have blocked out every location.

By doing this blocking, it has helped myself and Nisserin visualise what each location will look like. This will aid us in blocking out all of the scenes in detail as we get closer to the shoot days, and if all crew members were to see these images, they would have a clear understanding as to how we want the location to be set up and look like.
